Text: Genesis 8:1 – “But God remembered Noah…”
Noah was a man of obedience. When God told him to build an ark, he built it. When God told him to enter, he entered. But after the door was shut and the rains came, a long silence followed.
The Bible tells us it rained for 40 days and nights. Then, the waters flooded the earth for 150 days. Even after that, it took months before the ground dried up. And all that time, Noah didn’t hear a fresh word from God.
Have you ever been in a season like that? You did what God told you. You obeyed. You stayed faithful. But then, nothing. No new direction. No new confirmation. Just waiting.
Genesis 8:1 is a turning point: “But God remembered Noah…”
It wasn’t that God ever forgot Noah—it’s that God was working behind the scenes, letting time fulfill His plan. The winds were blowing. The waters were receding. The mountaintops were appearing. And finally, the voice came again.
Noah didn’t jump out of the ark before time. He waited for God’s voice to say, “Come out.” That’s faith.
If you’re in a season of silence, don’t panic. Don’t force a way out. God has not forgotten you. He remembers. He sees. He knows. His timing is perfect, and your ark will land when the waters go down.
Keep trusting. Keep waiting. Because soon, your “God remembered…” moment will come too.
